The Community Action Committee ("CAC") of the D. Augustus Straker Bar Association is comprised of attorneys using their expertise to identify those social issues that concern our local and global community.
We are committed to using our legal resources to educate and enlighten our community about their rights and available resources that will embolden us all to enact positive change in our communities.

Veteran's Expungement Fair, February 27, 2016:
Know Your Rights 2016: "Your Right to Vote!!" - Straker Bar is hosting a series of informative seminars throughout the community to inform the public about their right to vote and to dispel some myths surrounding the right to vote. Featured presentation on Saturday February 27, 2016 at 12:00 noon. Prepare for the Michigan Primary March 8, 2016!!.
